The first of the 22nd year Presentations for the Torbay and Devon Civic Award was held at Isca Academy on July 2nd, 2026 where just over 100 pupils received their certificates from Councillor Rosie Dawson,  Chair of Devon Council

The event was presented by Karen Thomson, Award Founder and Co-ordinator, who spoke to the children about the history and legacy of the award and about taking the values of the award into their secondary schools and their lives.

The event commenced with a welcoming introduction from Vicki Joyce, Headteacher of Isca Academy.

The technology was managed by Beth Symons and Dan Symons and photographs were taken by Gary Vine (Civic Award Publicist and Business Administrator)
