7 Year 6 students from Cockington Primary School (Torquay) were successfully awarded the Torbay and Devon Civic Award 2018.

Highlights:
Isabel did a sponsored swim for Torbay Hospital’s Cromie Ward and raised £294.00. She also organised a dress up beach day for the Year 6 children together with Charleigh and raised £54.11.
Scarlett supported WWF with a ‘how many sweets in the jar’ competition and raised £18.25.
Evie and Grace organised a ‘Bring a Pot Noodle to School’ day for the PATH homeless charity and collected 163 Pot Noodles.
Lily-Anne organised a bake sale and raised £95.14 for Macmillan Cancer Support. She also did a sponsored swim and raised another £85.00.
Rachel also organised a bake sale and raised £45.00 for Torbay Hospital’s Louisa Carey Ward.
