Nina May from All Saints Babbacombe C of E Primary School was successfully awarded the Torbay and Devon Civic Award 2020/2021.

Nina is our first graduate from All Saints Babbacombe C of E Primary School which we are sure will lead to many others following her lead.

Below Nina is presented with her certificate from Mr Nutbeam, Headteacher of All Saints Babbacombe C of E Primary School.

Congratulations to:

Nina May

In Nina’s own words on completing her 2020/2021 Civic Award:

“I wanted to complete my Civic Award because I like what it stands for. For Friendship, caring for the community, for poorly people who cannot help themselves.

It is very important to me that our beaches are kept clean, and plastic and rubbish dosen’t get into our Ocean.

I like the fact that the Civic Award is optional. To me this means you have to really care about those things to make the time to do it.

I hope that by completing every section  I have proved that I care about my community and my school, as well as just having fun. I will be really proud to receive my award.”
