Presentation Evening 1 – 3rd July 2019

It has been another record year for the Torbay and Devon Civic Award with twenty-six schools taking part and just over 450 Year 6 students meeting the criteria and successfully graduating with their well-deserved award certificate.

For the first time, because of the high numbers involved,  the Torbay and Devon Civic Award Presentations will take place in two venues this year:

 Wednesday 3rd July (St Cuthbert Mayne) and Thursday 4th July (Uffculme School).

There will be two presentations on Wednesday 3rd July at St Cuthbert Mayne Secondary School, Trumlands Road, Torquay, TQ1 4RN:

Presentation One

Doors opens at 16:00 for Parents, families and Schools

Presentation commences at 16:30 and finishes at 17:30.

There will be opportunity for photos just after the presentation.

Karen Thomson (Founder and Coordinator of the Torbay & Devon Civic Award) will formally welcome everyone at both presentations and provide an introduction and background to the Civic Award which is now in its fourteenth year

Certificates will be presented by Councillor Terry Manning (Deputy Civic Mayor for Torbay) and Councillor John Mathews (Chair of Devon County Council)
