Presentation Evening 2 – 4th July 2019

It has been another record year for the Torbay and Devon Civic Award with twenty-six schools taking part and just over 450 Year 6 students meeting the criteria and successfully graduating with their well-deserved award certificate.

For the first time, because of the high numbers involved, the Torbay and Devon Civic Award Presentations will take place in two venues this year:

 Wednesday 3rd July (St Cuthbert Mayne) and Thursday 4th July (Uffculme School).

Presentation At Uffculme School, Chapel Hill, Uffculme, EX15 3AG

Doors opens at 17:30 for Parents, families and Schools

Presentation commences at 18:00 and finishes at 19:00.

There will be opportunity for photos just after the presentation.

Karen Thomson (Founder and coordinator of the Torbay & Devon Civic Award) will formally welcome everyone at both presentations and provide a introduction to the civic award and what the year 6 students having been aiming for to achieve this recognition.

Certificates will be presented by Councillor Margaret Squires (Vice Chair of Devon County Council).
