Bethany Martin, a year 6 student from St Marychurch C of E Primary School charity work was a labour of love which involved growing apple plants.
She started preparing in 2017 when she began saving the pips from all the apples she had eaten.
She planted them and waited until they had grown into saplings.
Her uncle helped her advertise them through Facebook and she had over 1000 responses!
The proceeds of her sales have been donated to Cancer Research UK. Bethany kept the first sapling and named him Adam the Apple Tree…2 years later, he continues to grow strong and tall.
