Elena Suarez Gonzalez, a year 6 student from Bovey Tracey Primary School has successfully raised £140 through her Just Giving Campaign by completing a 8 mile sponsored walk from Bovey Tracey to Lustleigh Village Centre (and back again) raising vital funds for Diabetes UK.
Elena writes:
I am pleased to say that during half term I successfully completed my sponsored walk.
I started in the rain but the sun soon started shining,on route we gave out leaflets raising awareness of Diabetes UK.
With the support of my family and hot drinks and soup provided by the Beauchamp family in Lustleigh, I managed despite my sore feet.
Thank you very much to everyone who sponsored me, I have raised £140.00 for the charity, plus still have more donations coming in.
