Highlights from Exminster Community Primary School 2019/2020

Here are some highlights from Exminster Community Primary School during their 2019 / 2020 Torbay & Devon Civic Award

The children have risen brilliantly to the challenges of lockdown- persevering with their new hobbies and staying active. Before lockdown, they assisted in a huge number of projects in the local community.

Some of the activities which the students have been involved have  included:

Organising school Harvest Collection for Exeter Foodbank (Oct 19)

Volunteering at Westbank Healthy Living Centre (Ladies Friendship Group)  (Nov 19)

Making Christingles for the annual church service at St Martins Exminster (Nov 19)

Serving Christmas Lunch at Westbank Centre (Dec 19)

Making Christmas Wreaths with the Ladies Friendship Group at Westbank Centre (Dec 19)

Running the reverse Advent Calendar for Exeter Foodbank (Dec 19)

Running clubs in school for younger children including: Go Noodle Dance, Drawing, Singing, Board Games, Coding (Oct 19-Mar 20)
