Comments from Our Lady of the Angels

Here are some comments from the successful participants from Our Lady of the Angels who participated in the Torbay and Devon Civic Award 2018 / 2019.

Caitlyn Clatworthy – ‘I chose to do the Civic Award because I thought that it would help me become independent and it did’.

Olivia Kirby – ‘Doing the Civic Award encouraged me to do things I’ve never done before.’

Carolina Toribio – ‘My favourite thing about working towards the  Civic Award as when we were organising the cake sale.’

Ryhanah Awad – ‘The thing I love most about the Civic Award is how it makes you more independent because all the work must be done by you.’

Olivia Wood – ‘I have enjoyed the Civic Award as it’s made me more independent.’

Aaricia Dingwell – ‘I have really enjoyed doing the Civic Award. My favourite task was when we got to raise money for charity.’

Oliver Huxtable – ‘My favourite part of the Civic Award has been raising money for Water Aid and The British Heart Foundation by doing a cake ale at school. I’ve also enjoyed writing about the adventure training when we went to Warren Barn.’
