Warberry Year 6 Students Awarded Torbay & Devon Civic Award 2018

5 Year 6 students from Warberry c of E Primary School were successfully awarded the Torbay and Devon Civic Award 2018.

Amelia:

Amelia has chosen PATH as her charity, which helped collect socks for the homeless in Socktober.

Amela has also been involved in gymnastics, horse riding and Netball clubs throughout the year.

Livvie:

Livvie has chosen Funds for Fraser as her charity, helping in school to raise awareness of this little boys plight.

Livvie has been in our choir representing the school in our Celebration services and at the Torbay Proms.

Tilly:

Tilly is a active member of many after school and local clubs. She plays Hockey at county level.

For her charity, Tilly chose Little Things, which is a charity that supports Mental Health Welfare. To raise money Tilly sold all of her childhood books at our Christmas Fair.

Sophia:

Sophia has been in our choir representing the school at a special performance at Powerham Castle.

She is also a active member of our Ethos group, this group drives our valued throughout the school

Mikolaj:

Mikolaj has chosen the British Heart Foundation as his charity this year. He raised money by holding a cake sale.

He has also been an active member of our choir, performing at Torbay Proms, our church services throughout the year and has now landed the ldea role in our school end of year production Oliver!
