Rowcroft Hospice is a local charity, supporting adults aged 18 and above living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon.
The hospice aims to make every day the best day possible for people living with life-limiting illnesses across South Devon, whilst providing comfort and support to their families.
Rowcroft provides care to people in their homes, nursing homes and in its 12 bedded inpatient unit. Last year, the hospice looked after over 2000 local people.
“The Civic Award is a brilliant scheme that helps to develop children into caring young adults by telling them about charities, showing them that giving can be fun and rewarding, and encouraging them to think about how they can help their local community.”Rachael Bryett, Head of Fundraising.
